Type 08 AOR

Information in Brief

The Type 08 All Ocasions Rifle was invented by a Zeroic Weaponsmith in YarenZero in 2005. The Rifle is unique in design, and the perfect weapon for special forces, combining technology to make a recon and assault weapon. It incorporates three magazine slots for different munitions. The first slot houses 5.56 mm round for general assault, the second houses 12.7 mm Sub-sonic Sabbot Rounds developed specialy for long range sniping, and the third magazine holds special munitions such as burst rounds or spotters. As a result, the third slot is not always occupied except on special occasions.

Deployment

Due to the secret technology housed in the weapons and high costs to build them, the only forces to use the Type 08 AOR are the YarenZero special force, a.k.a. Checkmate Project. The weapons interact with the Combat Implants in the user in order to use the weapon to it's fullest ability.

Special Munitions

The AOR can fire the following special munitions:

• Burst Rounds - Rounds with C4 and and a detenator embedded inside for later use.
• Spotter Rounds - In the event Night Vision fails, spoter rounds can be used to illumintae drakened areas.
• Shock Rounds - Fires a round which can then be triggered to administer an electric shock to the target.
• Spy Rounds - Fires a tiny microphone for listening in on conversations.
• Rock Salt Rounds - Rounds filled with Rock Salt for imobilization.
• Confusion Rounds - Strategic Rounds that are the oposite of Spy rounds. Every 5 to 10 seconds, a speaker will play a gun shot sound, and emit a muzzle flash to create an illusion there are more soldiers than expected.
