Cockbill Street Commander's Cricket Cup Season 2
In the second season of the Commander's Cup in Cockbill Street, Jotneheim won another easy title as they thumped their opposition, winning by 173 runs, 58 runs and six wickets respectively. Their batting was just too strong, led by Leucite, who made 248 runs in two innings, but he was injured for the semi-final.
Quarter-Finals
Wynshire avenged last season's humiliating loss, when they were bowled out by 54, as Fred Borrington made 96 to lift the side to a 37-run victory. Darren Collingwood saved Rothershire from a poor score with his 117 against Woodshire, which turned out to be the highest score by a margin of 74 runs - Anna Benning coming second with her 43 - as Woodshire imploded to a 78-run defeat. CSCT walked to an eight-wicket victory over Northset, four maidens from George Bradley keeping them down to 192 and William Mackle smacking a 127-ball century to win. In the last match, Leucite smashed a career-highest 177 as Jotneheim made 316 for 6 against Ayreshire, and Betafite and Eric Iles ran through them as Jotneheim won by 173 runs.

Semi-Finals
Eric Crosse and Tara Heighes had Rothershire reeling at 101 for 6, but a magnificent unbeaten 88 from Koradrel Starchaser turned the game around, and Steve Schenscher ripped out a vital wicket as Wynshire looked to be making it to the target. In the end, they were nine runs short. Nothing could stop the Jotneheim juggernaut, however, Harmotome's 69 taking them to an unassailable 315 for 8 despite off-spinner Cornford's three for 40. At least CSCT ran them closer, though, digging themselves out of a hole at 56 for 4, but they still lost by 58 runs.
Rothershire 232-8 (50 ovs) beat Wynshire 223-7 (50 ovs) by nine runs
Jotneheim 315-8 (50 ovs) beat CSCT 249 ao (49 ovs) by 58 runs
Final
Jotneheim went in as huge favourites to take their fifth title in seventh attempts, and Rothershire would have to put their faith in their deep batting line-up. However, that backfired magnificently. Peter Gruggen top-scored with 38, Koradrel Starchaser was left stranded on 22, while Niter and Harmotome ran through their batting line-up for 142. Leucite smacked 71 in reply as Jotneheim cruised to their victory, Azurite showing his arrogance by leaving a number of jaffas from Koradrel Starchaser, who finished with two for 26.
Rothershire 142 ao (32 ovs) lost to Jotneheim 144-4 (40 ovs) by six wickets
