This article is about a region. For the international cooperative agreement of the same name, see: Communist International (cooperative agreement).

The Communist International was founded in 1919 to fight, by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and for the creation of an international Soviet republic as a transition stage to the complete abolition of the State.

Aims and ambitions

The NationStates Comintern was founded in early 2005 with the intention in uniting the NS communist world under the one banner. Its publicly stated its ambition was to overthrow the feeder regional governments and establish proletarian dictatorships in their place.

History

The Comintern soon after its foundation surged in strength to around 50 nations and looked to establish foreign language bureaus and other projects in an effort to project its influence internationally. After this all too brief heyday the region soon descended into inactivity never to recover. On its reactivation the founder, Cabet, immediately set about rebuilding and eventually, on the 22nd September 2005, merged the International with Gravy Island and the Socialist Republic to found the International Bolshevik League.
