Compuq is Located in South East Asia, South of China and to the east Lao. Compuq has a Tropical Climate in the South and a Subtropical Climate in the North. Year round rains provide an excellent area for growing rice year round.

Founded as the Kingdom of Saigonia in 1356 AD by the Kantar Dynasty. Its first ruler, Emperor Rika I, set the foundation that would become the great Rika Dynasty, which stretched from India, north to Mongolia and South to Java. The fall of Rika Dynasty occured in 1702, when the Dutch destroyed the Capital City. The Dutch then set up a Colony called Dutch Saigonia. The Dutch rule was brutal, the native people were forces to work in the fields and mines for little pay. In 1918 after centries of harsh capitalist rule a revolutionary leader named Dhanka Shika begain a bloody guerrila campain. After eight years of brutal warfare, Shika was successful and established the People's Republic of Compuq. From 1926 to 1954 Shika established a strict Socialist State. Political rights were outlawed and civil rights were curtailed. The economy was poorly managed and was in a state of collapse. After Shika's death a Communist Party member name Marshall Altar came to power. Altar's goals where clear. Allow foreign investment to modernize the nation. Also he increased efficency in state-own industries ans allow small privetly owned shops. Second: To allow more freedom to its people. Slowly people were given rights unimaginable to the previous generation. In 1985 Altar made his final modernization: He allowed fair democratic elections every five years. The Communist Party won 64% of the vote and stayed in power. In 1988 Alter died and was remembered as the hero of Compuq. In the 1990 election the People's Socialist Party won the election. For the first time in generations the Communist Party was not in power. The People's Socialist Party was defeated in the 2000 election and the Marxist Leninist Party was elected with 53% of the vote.

In the fall of 2005 after a long debate the people of Compuq decided to scrap the party system. Instead, the people decided to create a democratic system of councils. The councils include

- National Education Council, broken down into smaller regional councils. - National Healthcare Council, broken into smaller regional councils - National Worker's Council, broken into smaller industry/trade based councils - National Safety Council - National Police Council, broken into smaller regional councils - National Disciplinary & Dispute Council, for smaller cases regional councils are used. - National Scientist Council

There is no leader of Compuq. People can be voted into a certain council if they have an interest or need to be on a council. Each Council then has the ablity to elect one member to the national council for every ten people on the local council. Each national counciller can serve on the national council for one year. Each Counciller can only serve once on a the national council.
