Title
Comte of the city of Alphonse
Nationality
Sicinia Salis
Age
28

The Comte, at 28, is one of the youngest lords in the Congress. At the age of 17 he inherited his family lands and little else, as his father, through a combination of poor business skill and many enemies, had squandered nearly the entire family fortune. However, with an energy surprising for one long considered sickly and weak, Nathan set about restoring the both the family honor and wealth, and through his prowess succeeded at both.

Through a combination of marriage and manipulation Nathan was able to aquire the lands of the old Barony of Chateau Leon, and then with the tacit support of the State Government fought and defeated the Baron of Becquerel, who as an ardent royalist was considered fair game by the new administration. Absorbing the two Baronies into his own demesne and using their wealth to fund his projects, Nathan began to gain control over the traffic heading up and down the River Salis.

Alphonse has now regained its place as a crucial center of Salis river trade, and it was the headquarters of the 3rd Shock Army during the Three Day's War. However, while it still operates as a supply depot, thanks to the shrewd management of the Comte, the Army has largely moved west.

However, the Comte is one of the Congress's great success stories, and it is he who was bestowed the honor of becoming the challenger to the Premier in Sicinia's first elections.
