The Grand Dutchy of Contira was formed out of the ashes of two nations, Valle di Verdant and Blue Coast, who perished after a period of anarchy. Only a few leaders survived this period to rebuild. One such leader was the Duke of Cont whom all the aristocracy rallied around. He proceeded to rebuild his Duchy as the center of a new nation that will replace and surpase its progenators.
