The fall of DiscoJim
The fall of DiscoJim came when a virus (unknown origin) started to ravage the entire country. Due to budget cuts in Healthcare, the virus could continue it's death and destruction. The allies of DiscoJim tried to send vaccines to cure the virus. Sadly, only 5 million got the vaccine. The 5 million that survived moved away from their home and to another land which fully of beauty and prosperity. They knew this was their new home...
The Kingdom of Dalmenia
The Kingdom of Dalmenia is a small, economically powerful nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 7 million enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.
The large government concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Commerce and Healthcare are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 23%. A large private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.
Voting is voluntary and the automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts. Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Dalmenia's national animal is the dalmenian goose and its currency is the dollar.
