DarkSith Mars was the final colony in the DarkSithian pursuit of expansion. It is also the last.
DSMC is one of the original signataries of the Mangalan Accords and member of the Martian Duma on the behalf of the whole DarkSithian Empire.
With the assistance of the rest of the Empire, a massive (900 km in diameter) moon was built and named Thanatos, both to honor the Emperor and because it matches the naming theme of Mars' satellites, Phobos and Deimos. Soon after it was finished, the colony was moved away from the planet's surface into the newly created moon. And shortly afterwards, the rest of the Empire vanished as well. Nowadays, DSMC is the only reachable State in the NationStates universe.
