Originally from Mayatland, Dato Yi was transfered to Pastocia after joining the COMECON Alliance in 2052, after serving 14 years in the The Nurdbotian Soviet Navy, where he reached the rank of Colonel. He was placed in charge of non-combat Naval Ops in the capital of Pastantinople until 2053.
But during the Dominion Wars, a shortage of strong military commanders led to Yi being put into a command role in active service. After serving bravely in Operation Atlantis in Anubinia, Yi commanded The Coalition taskforce with retook Nova Pastocia from the StarWarsian occupation forces. After the war, he was promoted to Admiral of the entire Colonial Fleet for his service in the conflict.
In 2058, with the resignation of Commodore William Archer, Admiral Yi was promoted yet again, this time to the rank of Commodore and took direct control over the entire Imperial Pastocian Navy...
