The Despotate of New Constantinople consists of the city of New Constantinople itself and its immediate surroundings. It is the most culturally diverse area of Pantocratoria, as it is the first port of call for most immigrants. It is also the poorest province of the Empire, with small shanty towns and slums, predominantly occupied by immigrants who have not successfully integrated themselves into the Pantocratorian economy surrounding the old city.
The Despotate of New Constantinople is an independent state within a state, under the total jurisdiction of the Despot of New Constantinople, Prince Andreus, whose official seat of power is the Palace of the Despotic Court of New Constantinople.
