The nation of Difloxia, A Background.

Born in 1946, it has been in a constant state of war, Untill recently. The usual topic of discussion is their leader, Kilana R. Latena. She was born to a poor family, and grew to lead a revolution against the previous government. Her Rebellion was lead because of how mistreated they were by the Government. She sits apon her Throne in Juidan, a rich and powerful city, the heart really, of Difloxia.

Before the rebellion, the nation was led by what would best be related to a Czar-esque dictatorship. But instead of going into Communism, they decided perhaps Dictatorship was just what the nation needed, Yet it was to be Benelovent, Not greedy.

During the rule of the Czar-esque leaders, they made many advances into space travel, createing primative rockets. Difloxia was always intreasted in space, and wanted to traverse it greatly. This leads to one of the many reasons the previous government was overthrown, they were inadequite in funding space programs, going agaisnt the wishes of the people.

Difloxia has now began plotting to create several large space stations. One around Jupiter, to mine the Hydrogen gas. One in the asteroid belt, to mine the minerals. And one around mars, to study its many societys, and as a space port. There are also plans to create a deep core mining program for Mercury, and even attempt a program to create a gate system between the Sol system and Alpha Centuari.

Difloxian Intreasts and Resources

Difloxia wishes to spread to Mars, and has already began scoping out land with small probes, and several research teams. They know of those that live on Mars already, and are looking into purchaseing land.

Difloxias nation contains large amounts of Silcone, and Uranium.

Difloxian Inventions and Weapons of War

Difloxia has a rich history of inventing things, Mainly, means of Space Travel. They have developed a means of gateing small objects between small distances. While this gating technology requires an enormous ammount of energy, it is less time consume than moving through the space between the gates. Basically, the Gate opens a portal to another Dimension with diffrent physics. If you move one foot in a direction, you go 10. Move 10, you'll go 100. It increases like this, This technology is quite intreasting for weaponry, because whats moving between the space gains acceleration, and keeps it after it exits the Gate. If you fire a bullet through one end of the gate, and it comes out the other, it'll be moving 10x its original speed.

Apon learning this, A "Gate" gun was developed. Merely as a test if it could be done. The ammount of energy required to use it as a ship weapon are immense, requireing something along the lines of an entire station to power it. It would be useful to protect key things, such as Mining operations, and gate exits.

Another of their intreasting inventions, is the Energy Distribution Cannon, what it does, is basically convert energy of any kind, into Kinetic energy. After fireing, it loses potency as it moves, But it is capable of exerting 10 tons of weight on a single point at a close enough range, after enough chargeing. It has a threshold of 1,000 Gigavolts, before energy is wasted. For that much, it will deal 10 tons of weight. The charge time is incredible, and is best for defence than offence, as long as you know where their coming from and when.

The United Star Empire of Valinon has agreed to help Difloxia take its first steps into the grand universe, and has given them the rights to harvest Hydrogen from one of their Gas giants in their home system of Alpha Centauri
