The armed forces of the Dominion have seen conflicts on large scale and small scale and have developed a very well trained fighting force due to these experiences. While it is not capable of being considered as elite in the officer corps or the combat effectiveness of a nation such as Munatan who has seen far more combat it can be considered one of the top militaries in the region by both tactics and overall combat effectiveness. This is all due to the wars that were fought when the nation was run by the Elvan Council and President. The armed forces have not changed in image since the change of governments as the navy and airforce have remained the largest branches of the armed forces with the army being the smallest of the branches.
Army
The army is comprised of a full volunteer force as is rest of the armed forces. The army is the smallest branch in the entire armed forces but is well equipped and trained. It has seen action in every condition europe has to offer. The army specialises in Mountainous and forrest warfare since that is what most of the nations terrain is comprised of. The army officer corps is comprised of Senior officials from the Forrest Elves time and they simply remained in service when the government switched to remain loyal to the state. This has allowed the armed forces to keep its high combat effectiveness since most of the army, aswell as navy and airforce still have men in service from the Elvan period.
