Doutor Careca is the highest menace to the empire of Hector Van Tocco. After trying to win political power for years, he finally won the elections in the Espinal State and is now the governor of the state, and is increasing his power.
Derrod has few important allies, but he has great influence in his State, and is trying to make Espinal's population became enemies of the emperor too. But he still didn't get any success.
He also created a party, the CRE(Comando Republicano Espinalense). With this, he is trying to return Cafundeu to the republic and to the full democracy. Nobody knows if the CRE is only a political party or if it also has a army of loyal soldiers which would fight anytime in the name of the republic.
Derrod also has great strength for his age and looks much younger than he is. This help him to win the confidence of the younger people of the country, but he started to lost it after Princess Alicia Van Tocco started her political career.
But the emperor knows that he is dangerous, but thinks that he will die before having success.
