Both Kingdoms had already built empires, Castile already having conquered Galicia, Asturias,Leon, and the Canaries. While the Aragonese held part of Valencia, Catalonia, the Balearics, and the Basque regions straddling the Pyrenees. Edenburg has existed as a unified state since the several kingdoms of the Northern Iberian decided to unite of the monarch which they all inherited. The two most powerful kingdoms that comprised Edenburg were Castilla y Léon and Aragón. Both Kingdoms had already built empires, Castile already having conquered Galicia, Asturias,Leon, and the Canaries. While the Aragonese held part of Valencia, Catalonia, the Balearics, and the Basque regions straddling the Pyrenees.
