Background
The Republic of Esoterium, founded on June 6, 2007, is a small, socially progressive nation, notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 10,000,000 people enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedom, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct. The nation is the founding member of The Revolutionary Alliance, a region dedicated to the Enlightened principles which inspired the foundation of the United States.
