Exford Greenpine is a Kiravian government official and political writer, and current City Admministrator of Kêrona.

Early Life

Greenpine was born in Coolair, Kirav, on Sixmonth 22nd, to Oliver and Anticosta Greenpine. He attended Teal Earth Law High School in the nearby town of Teal Earth. After graduating, he became an intern at a law firm in the Kesta Colony, and attended Kesta University.

He took a job as a clerk for the government of Gwendolyn Couintyship, Enscirya. He worked for 5 years there before running for the office of Legislator. He was succesfully elected Delegate to the Legislature of Enscirya from Gwendolyn Countyship. Greenpine served the position for 3 years before leaving for Mesoarbourea. There, he took the office of Infrastructural Officer for the settlement of Orkney Harbour.

Early Colonial Career

Greenpine led Mesoarbourean settlers against the Cnians during the invasion of the colony, and was afterwards elected Provincial Executive, and appointed Governor. His tenure went well until Londinian Terranists, the largest ethinc group in the colony, called for the right to settle land that had already been given to Ieurlev settlers, but was claimed by the Londinian refugees because of blood ties. This turne votes against him, and he was recalled. No longer in power, he transferred to the even newer colony of the Penguin Islands, where he became Governor-Viceprex.

Suqusa Scheme & Related Work

Greenpine left the Penguin Islands to help with the colonisation of a small island called Suqusa. However, an insect-borne diseas, among other misfortunes, merited the disbandment of the colony. The island was then sold to Maldorians.

Greenpine and 12 other Suqusan settlers relocated to the nearby island of New Dravidia. They succeeded in setting up a small farming village, but were ousted in a bloody battle with nearby tribes.

With 8 of his 12 followers dead from the battle, he was forced to leave with his remaining comrades to Kyshynska, where they accessed capital, joined with some other colonialists, and founded the Pan-Surdoceanic Settlement Company. The PSSC set up settlements on numerous tundric islands in the Southern Seas, and kept up with the periodic failure of such settlements by creating new ones and investing in foreign land. To his disadvantage, the Empire banned colonisation companies a year later.

Life in Kêrona

After working in the Sceriat of Agriculture, Greenpine left for the new non-Imperial, Kiravian colony of Kêrona. There, he was elected City Adminsitrator, and remains so to this day.
