Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 1.784 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Book Publishing industries.
A survey of the nation's rivers and children has shown that pesticide levels are at an all-time regional high, police officers are seen patrolling the streets armed with satellite-guided truncheons, the judicial branch is strongly influenced by major corporations, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a problem. Maldorians's national animal is the Jaguar, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Credit.

The Imperial Empire of Maldorians has fought in many wars. It has engaged in The Khornate Tribes, The World Soviet Party, and was going to fight in New Ausha. They fought Wanderjar and Galmiria in the Galmirian Invasion.

Besides the Embassay program, Maldorians are very fond friends with New Ausha and Neo-Erusea. They also like Blackhelm Confederacy and Leafanistan. The Maldorians are in the Corporate Alliance.
