Its compassionate population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The large government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Defence, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 23%, but much higher for the wealthy. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.
Elections have been outlawed. Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Fabulousa's national animal is the peacock and its currency is the pink.

Geography
Fabulousa is a varied and diverse country. Though not very large at roughly 101,250 sq miles (much of that occupied by the many rivers and lakes), Fabulousa manages to pack in mountains, rivers, lakes, an ocean coast, a small desert and a very large Forrest in the North East.

Fabulousa legally protects religious freedom and tollerance. All people are free to believe whatever the choose to believe as long as their beliefs do not lead them to break other laws. For tax purposes, the state does recognize the existance of official religious groups, and to become one, a group must have more than five members, must supply proof of regular meeting for spirituality purposes, and must apply for three consecutive years before they will be approved.
There is also a state recognized religion for the purposes of swearing oaths for legal purposes. the state religion is the Radical Faeries but the laws protect all citizens of Fabulousa from being forced to recognize any religion beyond the purposes of swearing oaths.
