Featured Region

The Featured Region is a new feature of NationStates. There is a box showing it on the world view. The box includes the name of a region with a link to the region page, and the region's World Factbook entry. Becoming a day's featured region can be a great boost to regional popularity.
The featured region is chosen randomly, but to be a featured region, a region has to meet certain reqiurements, such as not being password-protected.
