First Simonvia is the only railway rival for Simonvian Trains. Though they operate most of the buses, First Simonvia is dedicated to the few railway services it operates. First Simonvia also owns a small portion of the Transpennine franchise.
The sister company, First Slingsby runs all bus and train services in Slingsby
