St Albans

St Albans was the second settlement to be built in Simonvia. Trade used to take place at the St Albans harbour, Simonvia's oldest port, with people from the only other hamlet at the time, Chapeltown, arriving by horse-drawn carriage or on foot. Boats carrying supplies used to sail to & from Imperial Aaronia's capital city Portaños or Scotllia's capital, Oompa Loompa town. The city of St Albans has greatly developed over the years and now plays host to Simonvia's yearly boat race, The Simonvian Vessel Championships which has been won by Richard Ashmore for the last three years.

St Albans also has Simonvia's second oldest place of worship and a museum of Simonvian trade is situated beside the commercial port. The old railway line between St Albans & Chapeltown has recently been reopened after commercial ships started travelling to exotic places like Ouban. A brand new airport has also been opened up to whisk people away to Portaños, one of the many new destinations served by the increasingly popular Simonvian Airways.

St Albans has since been twinned with Nomis, an Imperial Aaronian island.
