Gambloshia
The Republic of Gambloshia is a small, democratic nation in the region the Empire of Peacenik Treehuggers, an also small and natural democratic region. It has three major sections: the mountainous north, the plains to the south, and the rain forrest in the southeast. The capital, Swolvonium, is located on the Schiumoso River, and has a population of 3,672,954 Gambloshians. Gambloshia is a landlocked country with a large coast line on the east.
Gambloshia is a direct democracy; a system where the people directly elect the President and Parliament, which prposes laws for the people to vote on. It has three major political parties the NeoLibertarians, the Naturalist Conservatives and the Centrist Pink, although they haven't won an election in fifty years. Another notable party, regarded by some to replace the Centrist Pink as the third major political power, the Democrazies, had their nominee, Rashad Afar, come second in the last election. Elections are held every four years, and there is a two term limit for the President.
Gambloshia is a relatively peaceful nation; the only war it fought in was the war for its independence. In this war, nearly 75,000 Gambloshians--then called Jambolians--were killed, yet the persistence and determination of their leader, Ivan Von Nostrin, rallied the severly outnumbered troops to dirve the oppressive tribe, the Klumsovs, out of Jambolia.

History of Gambloshia
- Beginnings
The history of Gambloshia is traced back to 700 BCE, when the first settlement, Jambo, was established. It is believed that y=they migrated from the north, over the mountains and settled in the plains. Many believe the Jambolians were escaping a tyrannical tribe named the Golspirs where the oppressive alpha had absolute power. They broke free from the tribe and fled, hoping the Golspirs would not follow. They named themselves the Jambolians, after the word Jamb, meaning choice. They elected a leader, Rudy Steinfeld, during their flight and wrote a crude set of rules, which later became the basis of the basis of the Gambloshian Constitution. When the Jambolians established Jambo, Steinfed quicky created an army to defend themselves from the Golspirs, rumored to have followed the Jambolians. Despite this military action, the Golspirs were not seen. After a few years of peace in this new, fetile land, the citizens of Jambolia protested the army and its use, and petitioned to Steinfeld to stop funding the army and put the Onyx Chips into Agriculture. Stuck between keeping the small city-state safe and leading it to prosperity, he ordered an election of a bicameral council, one house for the land owners and one house for the workers, to help with the decision making. The Council immeadiately passed a law stating that all soldiers would be called from duty permanently, granted land outside of Jambo and each was ordered to grow a different crop.
- Turmoil
Jambo was prosperous for a decade un Steinfeld, who had been reelected three times, though many believed these elections were rigged. Steinfeld was only being kept from having absolute power by the Parliament, which had become more powerful, and the newly established Judiciary system. (I'll finish this later)
