Giorgio Cassata was the 64th Prime Minister of Pacitalia, serving from 1985-1987 under the Conservative Party banner. He is infamously credited with helping to nearly destroy the Pacitalian economy and, when his approval ratings sagged, attempting to convert Pacitalia into a one-party state through a series of controversial legislations. Cassata was expelled from office in late 1987. He retaliated by gathering supporters and bombing the Pacitalian Parliament buildings, known as the Prado. The attacks killed 93 people. He was arrested on the spot, jailed, tried in the spring of 1988 and executed in September of that year on the charge of treason and murder. Cassata is the only prime minister ever to be executed, though Constantino Sorantanali may join him as the second if the latter is found guilty of murder.
