The goal of Grazia, is to become a large, militaristic nation. The leader does not care about forestry, or his people's well-being (though he may treat them with a tax refund here and there), or really even his economy, as long as he is rich, large, and powerful. While he would wish for a Communist Paradise, he also understands that the quickest way for him to become an all-powerful force is with large, industric capitalism. As stated above, he doesn't really care. He just wants to reach that one goal.

Rivers
For it's small size, Grazia is rather plentiful with fresh water. The huge river of Taggar, to the north, feeds off into the two inner rivers of Odaho, to the western side, and Eskaltin, on the east side. These rivers basically slice the country into a West and East side, but they both drain into the Gulf of Alskan, which is on the eastern half. The Eskaltin River seperates the East side to the north-east and south-east. This river also divides the counties of Alinko, to the north, and Bonesquarl, to the south. The broad side of the Odaho river divides most of Bonesquarl County and the Garlaiz District. Also, the Eskaltin River seperates the county of Alinko and Tejak. The Taggar river serves as a northern national border.
Gulf
The Gulf of Alskin is full of fish, and is a fabulous gulf -- however, only a small part of it is accessed to Grazia. But Grazia does use this small portion heavily, establishing the Tukon Dock and funding it strongly. As of which, Grazia has a very impressive fishing business.
Terrain
The terrain throughout Grazia is rather simple. In the northeast, in Alinko county, is a weak desert climate. It is drier there, though not bone-dry, where the only animal that survives there is the buzzard. It is mainly flatland, except for the national border, which is composed of many tall hills. In the southeast, however, it is completly different. The abundance of fresh water allows heavy vegetation to grow in the area. Infact, the vegetation is so heavy, that it becomes a hinderance. Malaria is the largest trouble here, seeing as there is heavy rains and many places for mosquitos and other insects. On the complete western side, it's a calm temperate perfectness. Not too hot, not too cold, not too wet, not too dry. There is vegetation, but it's not heavy, which is why this is the location of the Central Business District and the major military bases.
Counties
There is barely anything in Alinko county, except for the Carlan Military Outpost. This area is also the harshest in environment. Bonesquarl County doesn't really consist of anything in it's central regions, either, except for the few and scattered villages. The major area is Tukon Dock, which is one of the most important areas in Grazia. The fish cought there account for 43% of the food supplies for the nation. Most common people eat fish twice a day. This area is also heavily funded and heavily guarded. Garlaiz District is where the majority of people live in Grazia. It is also the area in which the Central Business District is located. This area counts for the largest piece of funding for the entire nation. It is also home to the capitol of the nation, Asimo City. Tejak County was chosen to be the military homebase for the country. The highest number of military bases and training zones are in this area. And in the case of an invasion, Tejak would be the easiest to attack, which is why the most bases are there. This is also where the Dictator resides. While his exact location is never sure, it is believed he is in the central area of the county and resides in a non-descript building. It is known, however, that he has decoy "palaces" scattered around Tejak and Garlaiz. It is not known if there are decoy non-descript buildings, though.
Military
A strong military is one of the main desires of Grazia. Grazia prides itself in highly trained soldiers, though few of them there be. There are different levels of training, though.
Elite : The highest ranking soldiers in the entire army. They are selected by a board of a few military specialists, and they are organized into squads. Members of these Elite Squads are never transfered. These soldiers are kept with eachother until death. They are trained to keep themselves alive, but to sacrifice themselves if need be. These soldiers never surrender, though they will choose to go down fighting over suicide if possible. If captured, the soldiers are tought suicide. The only reason soldiers will seperate is if a majority of the members die, though a couple survive. Squads are kept to about 20 soldiers a piece. There are less than a dozen of these Elite Squads.
Royal Guard : These are ranked second in training effectiveness, and these special Guards are in abundance, but spread apart. They are used only for protection, and will not be sent into battle, unless under very special circumstances.
Grunt : The Grunt is the average soldier. They are the ones who occupy the military bases and are sent in one battles. And yes, they are referred to as Grunts. These soldiers are in the highest abundance.
Reserves : The "Weekend Warrior." Reserves train just like a normal grunt, but they live normal lives 3 out of every 4 months. They are in duty for one straight month, and are given the dirty jobs, such as guarding borders. There is always an exchange of reserves on duty. If war is declared, then reserves will work 1 out of every 2 months. During war, reserves are restricted to homeland defense, but if the tide turns against Grazia, then reserves will be put into active duty and will be essentially a grunt, but have the title of a reserve.
Militia : There is a large panel of judges who study adolescents in Grazia, and search for healthy, atheletic individuals. Anyone fitting a loose set of requirements is recruited for the national militia. This, ofcourse, is dependant on the amount of spending Grazia can fork to these people. Militia is not considered part of the Grazia army. They are simply individuals who train heavily, once every nine months, to help the country in case of severe emergency. These individuals are spread out through the nation, and in case of an attack, are supposed to help keep mass panic to a minimum and be leaders. They are trained to be soldiers, but never actually serve, unless even the Reserves are losing numbers. Militia recruitments can choose people as young as 15 to begin training.
But what's the training they go through? Well, 7 weeks of an initial boot-camp. This is the very basic training, and is used for all soldiers. Then they will be shipped off to the Carlan Military Outpost, where they will endure the harshest environment producable by the Grazia government. All soldiers endure this. Soldiers chosen for Elite and Royal Guard are shipped off to a secret training base. They are tought the same thing, but the Royal Guard is only there for 5 weeks, while the Elite Soldiers stay there for 8 weeks. It's unknown what they are tought there.
History
Far Past
Thousands of years ago, the western part of Grazia was visited rarely, due to there being much more suitable fishing area south of it. There were kingdoms erected, however, those these, like most medieval kingdoms, met a brutal end. But no one really cares about this. I don't know why I even made this section.
Recent History
Grazia used to be split between three powers. Everything except for the northeast was controlled. These were the first important powers in the area. They formed alliances, and warred constantly. A mass malaria epidemic wiped these three powers out roughly 500 years ago. Then a strong warrious force realized the potential of west Grazia and the area now known as Tukon Dock. This force established itself in West and Southeast Grazia, and called it Porgau. Porgau was very strict, and treated the people like tools. A civil war was declared between North and South Porgau. The North, which was the government controlled area, had a strong army and crushed the rebellion. Simply days after the rebels accepted defeat, a mercenary group noticed the complete weakness of Porgau, seeing as it's army was completly occupying the southern portion. A party in 1821 contained nearly every important figure in Porgau, including the dictator. The mercenary band of 60 men walked in and slaughtered everyone, crowning the mercenary leader Dictator of Porgau. The newly crowned dictator, Oras Filojan, appealed to the surviving delegates, and the south, by saying he would turn Porgau around. He lured all the delegates to a meeting -- and killed them. He named Porgau the now Grazia, which is actually the mercenary band's code for "Stupid cur." And thus Grazia has been held for coming on to 200 hundred years. The Filojan's have owned Grazia since then.
Present
Presently, Dictator Filojan controls Grazia similarly to his ancestors. However, todays Dictator does not have the passion to beat his people to a pulp. Sure, he does, but he does this because he doesn't care enough to change this. All he cares about is to be rich as powerful. Everything else he simply keeps the way they used to be -- unless it gets him richer and more powerful. For example, he recently repealed the law against private corporations being owned. While he is a socialist at heart, this aspect of capitalism does get you more money.

Important Peoples
The Dictator
Named Kovan Filojan, he is referred to only as Dictator Filojan, as were his father and his father's father. Failure to do so will earn the perpitrator a bullet in his skull by a nearby Royal Guard. Kovan's mother often worried about him, believing that his mind was poisoned. She didn't dare voice this to her husband, for he would have her beheaded on the spot. She worried about him when she saw him kill little animals, or torture them. But nothing was done. Kovan was tought to be a genius. He is, however, he still relies on his many advisors to make important decisions. He also learned expertise with the gun, though he never uses it. He's a dictator, after all.
Generals & Advisors
- General Shakav : The overall general, who is Kovan's closest friend and ally. Shakav's duty is
to know everything about what is going on with the whole world, and he is good at it.
- Lieutenant Koranth: Lieutenant of the Elite Squads, he is a genius and master survivalist. He
reports to General Shakav.
- Lieutenant Tuman, Panuk, and Darveen: The Lieutenants to the three seperations of Grunt Forces.
- Advisor Maneek: Social Matters advisor. This is the man who forms and breaks alliances, and
talks to the other nations.
- Advisor Falik: Economic Advisor.
- Advisor Manuanda: The Domestic Situation advisor. He knows everything about what's inside Grazias.
Together, all of these men, excluding Lieutenant Koranth, make up the Council. They meet with Kovan to help him control his nation often.
"Unknown" Acquantainces
Due to these acquantices not being registered, there is little information about them. These are the people Kovan contracts to do more secretive, illegal work. Terrorists, spies, the like. There are a few of these acquantices who are known to speak with Kovan, and as much information that is known about them is listed here. They all each have codenames.
Alan Kisovanich, "Angelfly": An international terrorist who specializes in car bombings.
Name Unknown, "Knifekick": Believed to be an internation spy and terrorist.
Name Unknown, "Jabpen": A terroristic operative believed to have worked with Angelfly in some operations, but is known to do solo work.
Jan Kich: Another terrorist and spy, whose name suggest that the operative is a female, and probably one of Kovan's only.
There are probably many others, however intellegence is very difficult to gather on these individuals, as they are kept to maximum secrecy.
