Great Wrightland is a large, militarily powerful nation on the southern edge of the Northern Continent of the Alliance of Honourable Peoples. It is a Constitutional Monarchy, and has been for several centuries.
The geography is similar to that of the other Heathen Coastal nations, Roudland and Gothria, in that the country is covered in woodland and plains, with a moderate amount of farming land. Weather is also similar, with frequent rainfall during the winter, and warm sunny spells during the summer months.
Economically, Wrightland is a competative nation, and exports natural gas, some defence technology and it dominates the merchant shipping supplies market.
The Great Wrightland military is very powerful, and is led by its formidable Navy and Wrightland Royal Marines divisions. Historically, it was the Navy and Marines that prevented the full-scale invasion of Wrightland during the Great Alliance War in 1937-1943.
Great Wrightland National Orchestra
Great Wrightland is very proud of its award winning symphony orchestra. Renound throughout the Alliance, the GWNO plays reguarly around the region and is often viewed as a diplomatic tool in itself. HRH Philip Lee-Wright himself plays in the orchestra on the violin. The New Bromley Concert Halls are home to the GWNO, where a multi-million Wrightmark renovation project has just been completed.
