Overview
The Fortress State of GruntsandElites is a massive, safe nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.149 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The small government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Beef-Based Agriculture.
Nursing mothers are often arrested for indecent exposure, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, popular political cartoonists are thrown in jail for inciting dissent, and owning a tractor is widely regarded as an essential prerequisite to most government positions. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. GruntsandElites's national animal is the grunt, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the capitaliono.
Education
Education is importent to G&E citizens. Education is broken up into four segments.
Primary School
In Primary School, children learn behaverial skills and other basics, such as Math, Language Arts (reading, writing and speaking skills) Science, and Social Studies (Geography and History).
Middle School
In Middle School, students are tuaght Algebra, Histroy, Geometry, Advanced Language and have their choice of many other subjects.
High School
In High School students choose their jobs and work on skills pertaining to their jobs.
Collage
Students may choose to go to Collage to learn more advanced skills for their job. Courses vary by Collage.
Military
The military consists of the Space Corp, the Marines, and the Army. There are 57,450,000 troops total
====Space Corp==== The Space Corps makes up about a third of all people in the military. It consists of anything that involves Space Combat. There are 19,150,000 troops in the Space Corps.
Marines
The Marines are the infantry of the Space Corps. They do all landing and Ship-to-Ship fighting. They have 14,362,500 people in the Marines.
Army
The Army exists only on worlds. They do all the battling for planets. They have everyone that isn't in the Space Corps or Marines.
