Gulf Islands

The Gulf Islands usually refers to all the islands in the Gulf of Vasconia which have not been claimed by any power as well as to the Lanerian Gulf Islands, an unincorporated territory of Laneria and a Confederal Member in its own right. The Gulf Islands are largely intermingled with the Imperial Islands and the distinction is more political than geographical. The Gulf Islands are mostly located at the eastern edge of the Gulf of Vasconia, near the Atlantic Ocean. Most were formed by subduction as other plates slipped under the Vasconian.
