Pre-Unification (~20,000 BC to 3200 BC)

It is unknown where the ancient peoples of Ness Snorlaxia came from, but tribes of humans, Toads, and Goombas migrated and lived in the region around 20,000 BC. These tribes were apparently unified at first, until they split into various groups. There was as many as 200 states, but by the time of Kaxue I of Ness Snorlaxia, the tribes were divided into the following seven states:

  • The Sxjãctõpõlĩxjhtầẽ (Shadowtonnae), who controlled a city known as Sxjãctõpõlĩxj (Shadowtonna). This city was ruled by the Kuliba, Chzxổe (Kaxue) branch. This was the main city in the tribal states, and where the empeoror Kaxue I came from. This is located where modern day Fourside is.
  • The Rĩxĩhi (Lilli) controled an area of present-day Lilli state. They were lead by the Kuliba, branch unknown.
  • The Vàẵrxñỗ (Varno) controled the deserts in present day Doko Doko East state. They were led by the Kuliba, Thxjtxl (Thijytal) branch.
  • The Ễậốããờữỹả (Mountain People), who controlled the area surrounding the Ness Mountains. Although they had no united leader, they did have similar cultures.
  • The Ằẳãốữỹả (Island People), lived in present-day Tangeriinsaaristo
  • The Tễxjễãllxễã (Tethe'allans), although were a tribe, did not become incorporated into the Ness Snorlaxian nation. The peoples of Tethe'alla, unlike the other tribes, had a religion, called Martelism.

The leader of Sxjãctõpõlĩxjhtầẽ, Chzxổe, was a devout follower of the hero Ness and wanted to fufill his dream of all of the tribes being unified. With the military might of the Shadowtonnae, all of the tribes were conquered, except the Tethe'allics, and united under Kaxue's rule.

First Kingdom (3200 BC to 67 AD)

Anarchy (3200 BC to 3180 BC)

After the formation of what became Ness Snorlaxia, Kaxue I had to stabilize the newly-formed nation, mainly from the Tethe'allic tribes, but other tribes would interfere as well. The main priority of Kaxue was to create a strong enough military that would fend off foreign attacks, which worked wonders for the new nation. Revolts against wider national rule were frequent, hence the name Anarchy Period.

Kaxue I died around 3180 BC, reigning for 20 years. He had no heir, which caused a crisis in Ness Snorlaxia. Each tribal leader wanted their own king.

One-Year Regency

The One-Year Regency was when a relative of Kaxue I was to hold the sway over the then-small government. This relative invited all leaders of the tribes (which had then been made satraps of Ness Snorlaxia) to come to the city of "Four Sides" (Shadowtonna, as it had a wall built as a square), where they would choose the king. A voting process took months as everyone wanted to be king.

However, after three months of fighting, Kaxue's relative (supposedly) told them that without a stable government, there will be more bloodshed and tragedy if they could not come together on a common cause. The following day, they decided to elect Kaxue's relative, who was crowned Kaxue II of Ness Snorlaxia

The First Kirby Dynasty (3180 BC to 2873 BC)

Kaxue II, along with his advisors, needed a set of laws to govern the kingdom. With the help of advisors, Kaxue II created the The Codex of the Realm of Ness and Snorlax. This document made the name of the nation Ness Snorlaxia and granted the right to free speech to all.

Although tribal fighting would still occur, the formation of an army largely prevented this. In the early days of the kingdom, the army were basically a law-enforcement unit, there to enforce the law and safety of all the realm's people.

Placeholder Stuff

Towards the end of the first Kingdom, the nation was starting to become fragmented again, with various military leaders claiming part of the kingdom. Although king Cmouinguzda I attempted reform, it failed and the kingdom was officially dissolved March 24, 67.

The first Confederation was ruled by the ruling Kuliba (Kirby) dynasty, but many tribes did not want a leader who only focused on his home region. The king was overthrown in 154, after a costly civil war.

The head of state was replaced by a person who would be elected every twenty years, but still be crowned as monarchs. The first person to be crowned this way was Kaxue LV Shuen of Ness Snorlaxia, who reigned 154-174. The Electorate governed Ness Snorlaxia until 345, when the powerful Kasobegetsu family and its military managed to take over the country. The Kasobegetsu kings ruled as dictators, until a rebellion led by Arujuxuruanduru V Shuen overthrew the dynasty. The Confederation and Electorate were restored, and governed the country until Posduxu IV turned the nation into a monarchy again.

Under the next three dynasties, the various kings reigned fairly. Ness Snorlaxian dominance in present day Super Mario Bros was also increasing, leading to the conquering of the area in 1307, starting the Ness Snorlaxian Empire. The kings and queens of the reigning Annuvopolou Dynasty and then Tanobi and Kuliba dynasties continued good governance, lasting until 1666.

Kaxue LXXXII of Ness Snorlaxia marked the turning point of the nation, as he was not interested in the colonies in Super Mario Bros. They were granted independence, but later, under Hurchxuu III, Doruxy VI, and Arujuxuruanduru VI, re-conquered the area in a long war. Kaxue LXXXIII, like the previous three kings, had no intention of giving the colony up.

On April 6, 1795, emperor Hurchxuu V was born and became heir to the throne. However, Kaxue LXXXIII was assassinated by an SMB revolutionary that was luring outside of his house, and Hurchxuu V became king ten seconds after his birth.

Under Hurchxuu V, Ness Snorlaxia entered its golden age, with the education, sciences, and technology advancing. Ness Snorlaxia also granted independence to SMB.

His reign lasted until 1922 - lasting 127 years. Since then, Ness Snorlaxia has prospered, but no longer in a golden age and the economy fluctuating from "Struggling" to "Very Strong" at times.
