The "Republic of Homith" is a small nation located in Eastern Europe. Despite it's location it has started to flourish without support from the Chinese goods market or the Japanese Food's market. The "Republic of Homith" got a grant from the Russian government to build several ICBM silos in case of American assaults from the east.
The Russian government collapsed shortly later and money was siphoned out of Homith to offshore bank accounts. The government takes small amounts of money out of these accounts when needed
Homith contains the great Nyresses Mountain Range which separates the North and the South. The only accessible path through is located in the Redit Gorge. This area is prone to landslides and has been the cause of numerous deaths
Government
Present
The Current government in Homith worked strongly to cure the frighteningly high tax rate and the overall economic state of the country. The leader of the Government at this time is Alex Daily. He abolished elections for an indefinite amount of time in order to fix the countries various problems. Alex Daily earned Homiths' place back in the UN after being expelled due to the outcome of the Armitan vs Trent North case.
Past
The past government in Homith was a friendly democratic one which was lead by the now missing, Trent North. His deputy, Julian Blake, took his role after shocking evidence against Trent North in the case of Armitan vs Trent North. The case caused Trent North to be executed but this execution did not occur due to the mysterious disappearance of Trent North.
Homith Defense Force
The Homith Defense Force has it's main bases in the city of Reznart and Miranch, with smaller bases all over the country. The General of the Homith Defense Force is Kris Miran, The son of the former Prime Minister.
The Homith Defense Force hasn't been engaged in active conflict since it's foundation in 2000 after 'The Reznart Offensive'. They currently participate in training all over the country, mostly in the mountainous areas of the Nyresses Mountain Range.
The Reznart Offensive
On the 5th of July, 2000, the Northern Homith Army crossed the border posts at Redit Gorge. Advance reconnaissance teams were dispatched to give reports on the battle group as they approached Reznart. The Southern Homith Army dug into the outskirts of Reznart expecting an easy battle. The Northern Homith Army reached the city of Reznart on the 7th of July, Fierce fighting between the Southern Homith Army and the Northern Homith Army caused the Southern Homith Army to retreat to the city of Reznart. This left many civilians caught in the middle.
The Prime Minister of South Homith, James Walker met with the Prime Minister of North Homith, Michael Miran. After several hours of discussion they announced the formation of Homith.
The final death toll was 277,000:
