Horatio Sulla was born The 'Burgh, in the Southside, in a predomantly ethnic mixed neighborhood(typical 'Burgh neighborhood) He grew up in an atmoshere most condusive to International Affairs(well at least to the eating and drinking aspect). He attended and graduated from Stanly P. Kochowski Memorial High School. After his Schooling he recieved an appointment to the Palentine Naval Acadamy. Thus leading to...
Military Career
Horatio attended the Palentine Naval Academy, and excelled, except for a marked dislike of the ocean. Thus during his Third year he opted for the Palentine Marines, figuring that he would have less of a chance being lost at sea, and a better chance to score some tail from the grateful natives of the nations he would stop for R&R(everybody loves Marines, aspecially with their awesome uniform and sword). He graduated with honors, and was commissioned a 2nd Leutenant, after surviving the gold plated SOB...err...the Marine Officer Training Course. He served with distinction, and made it to the rank of captian, before his fall from grace. It all happened while serving on the PNS Komoniwannalaya, Apparently there were quite a few regulations that he broke, when he was caught in the Admiral's Pinnace with the Admiral's Wife, twin 18 year old Daughters, several local women of questionable and negotiable morals, and a case of the Admiral's own 15 year old single malt Scotch...the Admiral really loved that Scotch. Horatio was promply Court Marshalled and cashired from the service.
Acting career
Needing a job, Lady Luck smiled upon Horatio. A movie producer watched the media coverage and like what she saw in the young marine(and quite possibly a few things she could not see, but those are scurrious rumors). The was producing an Action Movie, and needed a leading man. After a meeting (and a weekend in "private consultations") Horatio recieved the part. The movie, Die,Commie Scum,Die! was a critical failure, but a box office smash(there is just no accounting for the poor taste of Palentine Citizens). This lead to other movies coming Horatio's way, including the trilogy of films where he played Colonel Carnage, commie exterminator extrodinaire. He became rich, but his body was crying out enough(he did his own stunts). Thus he decided to seek a cushier career.
Politics
Sulla next ran for the Palentine Senate. He used his fame and rapier like wit, to paint his incumbant opponent as a aging liberal hippie freak. In the Senate he became well know for his support of the Military, Military R&D, almost rampant Capitalism, the Rights of Gun owners, and taking a tough stance on nations that support terrorism. He came to the attention of Emperor Captain Spaulding I, who saw a kindred spirit, and drinking companion. When the Palentine joined the UN, Sulla was Appointed ambassador. When the Palentine left the UN, The Emperor made Sulla head of the Palentine UN Office. Soon afterwards Sen. Sulla replaced Ambassador Jack Riley of Ohmigodtheykilledkenny, as Regional Delegate from the Antarctic Oasis. Currently Sen. Sulla haunts the halls of the UN, oogling the Thessadorian Ambassador, hanging around Catgirls, reading SOF magazine, and drinking to excess. All while exuding the Barbaric Militant Machismo(TM), that the UN so desparately needs.
Personality
Charming when he has to be, but usually sacastic,and a bit abrupt and nasty. Tends to be short tempered. Also seems to be a bit on the unwholesome side...kinda like a defrocked priest. Very loyal to friends though. Tends to act like a Frat Boy.
