Zerg(Egypt):Year 3800 B.C.E.

Three Major groups have formed in the Land of Zerg. Zarkarna are living along the river of Pohar’s flood plains. Zulbania have settled in and around the delta of the river Pohar and the Sea of Eternity. Finally, the nomadic tribes of Farkic continue to walk the deserts of Zerg.

The Zarkarna gather around the flood plains of Poher. They are able to grow an abundance of

Their political hierarchy is based around clans that all follow High Priest and the King. The King is the leader of the clan that is the strongest. Though there are laws against killing, fighting/assassinations within clans and among there rivals is allowed and encouraged if you don’t get caught. The only true unredeemable murder is the murder of a priest, children, and pregnant women.

Honor is a foreign idea to Zarkarnans. They believe in the idea of winning at any cost. Though they do not revel in bloodlust they are willing to kill anyone who gets in their way of their own bid for power. Vehemence is a common idea but usually people depend on their own survival. Marriage is also a strange idea to Zarkana. So Zarkana seeks to enhance the blood line by seeking strong mates. Children are left to fend for themselves after 10 years of age. Usually the children die or get apprenticeships.

Social hierarchy goes from laborers, to merchants and soldiers, to priests and judicators, to nobles, to Lords of Clans, to King. Laborers work the field and form all the necessary jobs for a society to run. Though some laborers belong to each clan, most are not part of a clan and serve merchants. Soldiers are always part of a clan, but merchants most often leave their clan as to better avoid inter clan fighting. Priests abandon their clan for work in temple. Nobles are the higher ranks of every clan (direct relations to the clan's high lord).

The Zulbanans live in the delta region of Poher. They are fisherman and farmers and are able to provide what they need quite easily in their region.

The political hierarchy of Zulbania is a primitive Feudal system. At the top is the Patriarch. Below him are, in order of top to bottom: bishop, archon, cleric, paladin, farmer. Advancement is based on a few things: a challenge to a duel to your superior, promotion appointed by the Patriarch or council of bishops. Laws regulate Zulbania and punishments are severe. Fighting usually happens between others of the same level of lordship.

Honor and Loyalty are prized above all else in Zulbania. These traits are directed mostly towards your lord, friends, and family. Underhanded tactics are frowned upon and is punishable with death. Ever aspect of their life they do to a certain code. Not very at adapting to change, they believe that the gods made the world to be as predictable as the tides, only changing a tiny bit from year to year.

Social rank is based on political rank. Life revolves around the Churches of Zulbania. Anyone who is of rank higher than laborer is a member of the church. Laborers work all the menial jobs of the kingdom. Other jobs are based upon political rank.

Much different then the Zulbanans and the Zarkanians are the Farkic who roam the desert

Very little is known about their social and political structure. For a fact almost nothing is know about at all. They somehow find the way to gather food from the oasis they travel between.

Very unlike the other groups native to Zerg, Farkicens do what they can to survive. While not as cruel as the Zarkanians Farkicens aren’t like the Zulbanans, who are so regulated and have little freedoms. Family ties are great part of their lives. Loyalty to family is held above almost everything else.

Relations between Zulbanans/Zarkanians and the Farkicens are quite hostile. The Farkicens raid the other inhabitants of Zerg. All retaliations against Farkicens are usually ineffective as the Farkicens disappear into the desert. Only the Zarkanans have successfully dealt a blow against the desert raiders.

Zulbanans and the Zarkanians fight each other when ever they don’t fight amongst themselves, which isn’t very often.

BCE 2900 From the south and northeast barbarian tribes have appeared. The Nubarns from south are striking with Bow, arrow and they have tamed Elephants as mighty war machines and are an intmidating foe of the Zarkanans. From the Northeast raiders have struck and commited genocide to the Zulbanian villages they have struck. The strange northeastern raiders attack with wierd animals. Never seeing these strange creatures (camels) defenders are fearful and demoralized beleiving these barbarians are demons sent to test the Zulbanians faith

he Barbarians have made major incursions into Zulbanian and Zarkanans territory. At the first major incursions led to the devastation of the armies of both native Zerg armies.

In the south the skies filled with flaming arrows and the ground thunders with the footsteps of the mighty elephant. Zarkanan soldiers are being tore down by enemy arrow barrages. Any Zarkanan battalion that come close to the archers gets overrun by rampaging elephants. The Zarkanan dont stand a chance against the enmies superior numbers ecspecially with Zarkanan's lack of discipline

The cutthroats from the northeast are spreading their lies among the Zulbanian populace. Numerous assassinations have happened among the the Zulbanian ranks. The great dicsipline armies of Zulbanian are being out manuevered by the camel cavalry. The Zulbanan stand no chance against the smarter more expierenced barbarinans.

The enemy forces advance has finally allowed the two generals to meet. The barbarian warlords have agreed to destroy the rest of the Zulbanian and Zarkanan. Farkan spies were their to see the meeting. Beleiving that immediate intervention is the only way to preserve thier way of life. So the Farkans have kidnapped the Zulbanian and Zarkanan leaders in order to get them to agree. Of course even in as desperate of a situation their leaders could never agree.

But luckily the Farkans had prepared for such an inevitability. They had engineered the kidnappings to blame the barbarian warlords. So the Chief Bishop and the leader of House Verak have agreed to fight the barbarian horde. The Chief Bishop has given the technology of shields and javelin. Matriarch Verak has sent some of her best commanders and soldiers to lead the armies of Zulbanan.

The united armies of Zerg then were pushing back the barbarian horde. In the northern deserts Zulbanans employ new tactics and Zarkanan geurilla fighters to attrition the barbarians into submission. In the south Zulbanan phalanxs protect Zarkanan slingers as the javelineers decimate th ranks of Nubulan archers.

United as one the armies of Zerg have hit the barbarians hard. All but destroyed the two barbarian leaders are cut off from retreating and there forces face a final battle near the Oasis Gtah. As the forces converge for battle Zulbanans esemble symbols of whorship to help them win this final battle. Zarkanan slingers and axemen get ready to charge. The barbarian camels and elephants dont stand a chance versus the combined Zerg armies.
