Iansislean Census Act of 1953

The Census Act of 1953 was passed in the first full sitting of the Iansislean National Assembly after the elections of 18 May 1953. It was proposed by Lawrence Madders, the Assemblyman (MA) for Eastergate, the leader of the Radical Faction in Iansisle. The purpose of the Census Act was to form a committee to survey all people in Iansisle proper, Dianatran, Iansislean Gallaga, and all other extra-Shieldian territories; the commission's work was completed by early 1954 and later used by the government as the key component for the Conscription Act of 1954.
