History

Ancient Times

The region of present day Iragia was first settled some seven hundred years ago when a ship named the Endeavour commanded by Captain William James Baker landed in a bay on the west coast of Castamere, just near what is now modern-day Almohed. Captain Baker, and some three hundred settlers, setup camp on the coastline at the bay's eastern most point. They setup a small village, with a wooden keep, and began fishing in the bay. With ample supplies of seafood available, Baker named the new found village Baker's Land, and soon other ships arrived with settlers and they settled around the bay, and followed the rivers deeper in country. Soon several small settlements existed, and they setup farms along the river lines.
Eventually, Baker died, with no sons, and the main town on the bay appointed a council of the most prominent citizens to run the town, and other villages. Over the next century, the population grew considerably, and explorers had mapped out what is now modern day Iragia.
