Irondin is a Arctic Archipelago nation in the north Atlantic Ocean. It is in North America and Europe at the same time and is one of few nations that straddles more then one continent without overseas possessions.

The Irondin of today is the Second Nation of Irondin and is called the United nation of Irondin by its Citizens. The First Modern Irondin Fell apart when A high member of its Government was killed in Roach-Busters.

Irondin of today is a Democratic Libertarian Capitalist nation much like its former. Its Head of Government is Shaun Churchman a man born in Irondin but earned his fame in Roach-Busters as a high ranking General. He is highly revered in Irondin and is considered the man who Brought Irondin back from the dead. Shaun resonantly gave up all real power of the government to the Speaker of The Reichstag and the Reichstag itself and now only has Ceremonial powers, however there is a Provision in the Irondin Constitution that would allow Shaun to take all his powers back in an Disaster. This has been called the Roman clause (called that due to the same law in The Roman Republic). The Government is highly Democratic, no parties are banned and all (even Criminals) may run or vote. It uses a reprehending System plus 2 seats for the President and Speaker of the Reichstag. The Speaker is like the PM of a Government but unlike most he is independently elected and may have a party, unlike the President who is not allowed to have a party back him or her. Elections are called ever 2 years and all but the President must rerun or give up his or her's seat in the Reichstag. The President must go for re-election ever 4 years.

Irondin is a Capitalist nation with little government control over its economy. This has allowed Irondin to recover fast since its reunifying one year ago. Industry is huge in Irondin employing 88% of the people. Farming (Hydroponics) Employs 2% and the rest in Service industries. Irondin is a strong supporter of free trade and is setting up the World Free Trade Alliance. Arms, cars, and Mined goods (Considered to be industry in Irondin) are the main exports.

Irondin army is made up mostly of armour. There are only 4 footmen squads (There is going to be a 5th squad but it is very classified) and they are Navy-SEAL like Units. All Irondin Armour is Irondin made. Its back bone is the IHA Devastator, a MBT based off the Merkava. also numerous is the IHAAA Hellfire, a SAM tank that is highly affective at shooting down bombers. There are also many other types of armour. an Interesting one, IHAPC Crusader is purely export only due to the lack of footsolders in the Irondin army. The is a small navy and no air force yet.

Irondin's history is quite long, tracing all they back to when the first peoples came to north America from Asia via the Baring land Bridge. Inuit who moved east instead of south found Irondin to be a idea home due to it huge fisheries. for many years they lived in peace until Norse came from the east and began to settle. With there Arrival, Tribes began to form and war with each other. this off and on Conflict called the Tribal uprising slogged on until about 1650 when the Syslock tribe was able to take over all that is know as Irondin today. During the 1700s Irondin was able to keep itself independent from European powers and was a place that accepted refugees from Europe during the upheavals of the industrial revolution and French Revolution (In fact Shaun Churchman is blood related to a noble Family that fled France during the revolution). It was not until WW1 that Irondin became a world player. it was highly sought by the allies and central powers but in the end chose the side of the allies, and began to defend allied shipping, helping to end WW1. It called like the US for no punishment on the central power and refused the support the Versailles treaty and never entered the League of nations. Many Russians came the Irondin after the Communist takeover of Russia and even more found there way over when Stalin’s Reign of terror. After the start of World War 2 many in Irondin called for no helping the allies because of there actions of after world war 1 and it was not until the Nazis began attacking Irondin for a stepping stone to Canada that Irondin declared war on Germany and once agen helped protect British shipping in the Atlantic. after that it remained and non-allied nation and often tried its best to undermined both the US and USSR. it almost became a USSR Puppet when the communist party won the election in 64 but it lost the next election in 69 when the people realized what there were doing. after that most governments have been very Libertarian governments and was drifting towards the US when the cold war ended, because of its non-alignment during the cold war, the end had very little affect on Irondin. It was not until close relations was formed with Roach-Busters that Irondin started to act strongly in the world stage. Many events with Fascist white state and other nations marked this interesting time. During a mission to Roach-Busters however this would all come to an end. JC the Minister of defense was killed in a attack. After this Doug Churchman (no Relation to Shaun Churchman) lost his will to run the nation and resigned, after a series of unfortunate events, Irondin fell apart and died.

Recently There has been a huge scandal in Irondin, involving Irondin's Main ally, Roach-Busters. It Started when two members of RBs Cabinet thought that the fact that communist parties in irondin (and Democracy in itself) was too big of a threat to RB intrests in Irondin, them (without getting approval from JL in this) sent "Bravo" a subversive agent into Irondin to incite hate of communisism by staging terrorist attack on inncents and pining the atrocities on local communists. This plan unraveled however when Grant Fyllat, the leader of the Marxist-Leninist party stages his own investigation and discovered Bravo and his connections to RB leadership. This has Erupted a huge scandal in Irondin and with the next election coming soon many people see the Irondin United Communist party Taking many seats and Grant possibly takeinf the Speaker of the Reichstag spot from Gregrly Velms who was seen as dead weight in the crises, doing little more then ban the communist parties (that never got through the Reichstag) This Came true in the last election with a communist victory. This Plus the Mongoose scandal and the past history with Roach-Busters has let to a very powerful anti-JL and anti-RB Movement in Irondin
