Starblaydia All-Time XI Nomination, Four Nations Invitational 2 Winner, Starblaydia's Most-capped Defender

Jean-Pierre Durand was one of football's most elegant defenders of his generation, perhaps the classiest Starblaydi defender ever. Innate leadership skills and his touch on the ball were an awesome combination. He could read the flight of a ball and the thread of a pass as good, if not better, than anyone before or after him, a telling pass or two couild unlock an opposing defence from forty yards away.
