Jutlas is a rather unremarkable city other than it being the capital of Neu Schleswig. Heiligewasser, one of the world's largest submarine-building companies, moved its headquarters to Jutlas in 2006, providing a surge in the local job market. The newly elected mayor, Sophia Welf, is the sister of Neu Schleswig's governor (her maiden name being Bradlieb).
People
Jutlas is almost entirely Finnish, with the sole exception being the Danish neighborhood of Ny Sjælland.
