The Grand Duchy of Kaduna is a reasonably large nation, they worship their warrior god Kadun with almost undying loyalty, some worship him with fanatcal resolve those that do are seen as Treacherous, due to many wars with these traitors everyone has been given some basic military training, the Kaduna hope never to use these conscripts and remain totally loyal to their standing army of Warriors.

History

The first mention of the Kaduna is thousnds of years ago, back then the race were known as Wermen, they had been enslaved by a nation far greater than themselves, it was not until a child was born that the Wermen changed their name in honour of the great hero Kadun, Kadun fought war after war and soon his people had carved themselves freedom, Kadun was hated by all the other nations and many attempts were made against his life, all of them direct duels with which Kadun easily won, he was not defeated until the large nation, that had once owned the Wermen, sent an assassin to kill Kadun, he was stabbed through the chest with a sword, and sinse all swords were banned in Kadun, not that it mattered, now that their hero had been killed it was no use in fighting, the Kadun were once more enslaved.

Now began a time spanning 200 decades when the Kadun were under enslavement, wars and plagues passed, empires rose up and ebbed away, Kadun were bought and sold like meat, it was the plight of the few Kadun people that was brought to the attention of the KSL (Kaduna Slave Liberation) the name Kaduna being a typo which would stick, after many years of campaigning the Kadun slaves were released, they were given vast amounts of reperations and an island to call their own, but they did not call for this, they wished to see the long dead body of their once great hero Kadun, they were not allowed, his body had been buried in lands less willing to allow the Kadun to return, of course this would not do, somthing would need to be done immediatly

After ten years of freedom the Kadun peoples seized the city of Boroktopia, they demanded to have control over the sacred ground under which their hero Kadun was buried, this insurection was quickly subdued of course and it led to a tense few years of Kadunese relations, an underground cult grew in the backwaters of urban life, they preached the words of Kadun calling all other religons blasphemous, the common name for these terrorists was the Priesthood, but the Kadun called them the Warrior Priests, of course the name Kadun was not acceptable anymore as people veiwed it as being an evil force, the typo Kaduna was taken.

The Priesthood were feared worldwide and more Kadunese were joining this un-noble cause every day, the remaining loyalist Kadunese were begging not to be annexed by the larger powers. The terror reached to the point that the Kaduna were all taken into custody in the summer times, knowing the Kadunese weakness to extreme heats the special built prisons were made so that the heat would be continuously recycled, hundreds were dying every year, it was truly terryfying, the worse thing was that it did not help, the terrorist actions were gaining in speed and furiousness, murders and violent hate crimes were going up and never halting, martial law only made things worse, soon there was no army left, all of them found butchered, there were attempts to flee this world and start a life anew, wheras some made it others merely perished.
