Early Life
Prince Caleb was born on the 28th of June, 1973 to King James Richard I of New Britannia and Queen Melinda Rose. His birth was kept a secret. He was raised in an aristocratic environment, away from the Palace in the capital of New Britannia. He was brought up mostly by his mother and aunt, Duchess Gracen, but also had a strong bond with his father, playing polo and other sports with the King in secret. He is also known to have a childhood sweetheart, but continues to deny those claims. He was educated in maths, sciences, philosophy, military strategy, politics, history, English, Latin, French, German, and Spanish. He was a skilled fencer and horseman. He was raised a devout Protestant and remains so to this day.
Civil War
When King James Richard I of New Britannian Empire (nation) was assassinated in early 2006, New Britannia broke out into a civil war. During the war, King Caleb I was a Major in royalist army, leading them to several victories. The people still did not know of the heir to the throne when a foreign region entered the war to aid the rebels. The war was bloody and most royalist natives sailed to the neighboring continent now called New Britannian Empire. When the rebels learned of the Prince, a man-hunt began. They wanted to find and kill this heir so that no one could claim the throne and New Britannia would be a republic. Thankfully, Prince Caleb survived and led a navy attack on the rebels' fleet and costal fortress. The rebels surrendered and were executed for treason. New Britannia had also gain territory: the continent of modern New Britannian Empire.
Rise to Power
After the war, on the 19th of June, 2006, Caleb was crowned the first King of New Britannian Empire. He moved the capital to Orizaba in New Britannian Kingdom, New Britannian Empire. The King reigned with supreme power and built New Britannian Empire into a mighty superpower. He not only founded New Britannian Empire, but also New Britannian Imperium and New Britannian Utopia.
