Kingston is the provincial capital of Konoha, a province of Kelssek. Located on the northern shore of Lake Konoha where it is joined by the Firith river, it has a population of 1,952,384 (2004 census). Kingston is home to the National Military College of Kelssek, the military institution for training officers of the Kelssek Forces, and the University of Kingston. Attractions and culture

Kingston was the first capital of the Guedian Kingdom, before King Erland II relocated it to Neorvins in the 14th century. The old section of the city is designated a national heritage zone for its historical value. A popular tourist attraction is the ruins of Kingston Castle 10 kilometers outside the modern city centre, on a hill overlooking the lake.

Most of the cultural life in Kingston centres on the University of Kingston campus, which has several venues for performing arts. There is also a thriving cafe district by Thunderbird Park, where the National Konoha Museum is located. The museum specialises in showcasing the history and culture of the aboriginal Ainü people.

Transportation

Kingston Transport, a city government agency, is responsible for public transit and operates a large fleet of buses to serve commuters' needs.

Johnny Fay International Airport (KNG) is the main airport in Kingston. It served 15 million passengers in 2006 and has several daily flights to international destinations.
