The beginning

Kronemonsteland was recognized as a free country in our Year 1, or your 1512 A.D..The area Kronemonsteland covered was a colony of Spain until they decided to leave after several Spanish soldiers were killed by the Kroneish.Now you may think the Kroneish were native Americans, but in fact they were Vikings exiled from what is now Denmark.The Kroneish took their name from their coin, called the Kroner.Back then, a Kroner could buy one pig, but today it can't even buy a decent slice of bacon.As the Vikings became more civilized, they discovered many 'lost' technologies, with help from the natives.

Colonization of the new world

The Kroneish basked in the enjoyment and satisfaction of driving the Spanish out.They relized that in order to take an advantage and foothold over the land, they would need more than mere villages, so they assembled 5 scoutings troops to find out new, useful land and colonize it.From their position in the Carolinas, they sent one troop South, where it was shot by the British (and to this day the Kroneish aren't exactly ecstatic of going South), one across the sea which found Bermuda and founded the City of Holiday, one West which stopped somewhere around California, and funded New Kronemonsteland, and one North, which got to around New York and founded Kronemonsteland Isles.

All of these lands kept in mind that the leader wanted an annual growth report, so once again the natives helped with tricks and tips.

Defendending the colonies

So now Kronemonsteland has a large, vast land area, they were going to invade and conquer neighbouring countries,but they decided not to, as the British came and tried to conquer THEM.The south of Kronemonsteland was invaded, as well as Eastern Kronemonsteland Isles,Ironically,they signed a peace treaty at The City of Holiday.Apparently none of the information about this event reached the mainland in time, but it did eventually, and the wars stopped almost immediately.

The Modern Age

As Kronemonsteland grew, technology grew as well.Thanks to a new alliance with the British, they could see what was going on in Europe.Thanks to the British,Kronemonsteland enjoyed the same benifits as those in Europe, and the benifits they had invented too,so they were very well off.When Britain pulled out around the early 1900's,the Kroneish weren't bothered much as they were trading with most European countries as well.
