LA Ice is a relatively small nation in Dry Borderlands of Reason.
Background
LA Ice is an artificial island, based on mostly Coke bottles and sand sediment. It was unintentionally created by a number of men, who went out fishing every day in the year of 1959, and drank 3 bottles of Coke each. They littered these into the ocean, where, over time, they sedimented into the ground, and became an island in the shape of a Coke bottle. When this finally happened, the men were no longer alive. It took until 2005 for the nation to be founded, by a Mr. Taylor Rundell, who was in a hot-air balloon at the time. He proclaimed the nation as a colony of Australia. Today, the nation's history of Coca Cola is still remembered, as mosts house have Coke on tap, and the only beer available is based on Coke.
Religion is illegal, with people of faith going to A.A.-style meetings to 'recover', however, the government believes that a small group of "underground" religion is going on, with Muslims and Catholics leading.
The nation stayed as a colony of Australia for 15 years, until it finally claimed independency of Australia and became part of The Honor Guard. The regional government here was very slow to respond to important matters, so after a few months, the Government rejected being part of The Honor Guard and became part of the general "the Pacific". The nation finally took root in Dry Borderlands of Reason.
