Locke Harbour is the capital of, and largest city in, PopularFreedom. It is located in the middle of the eastern coast of the PopularFreedom main landmass along the mouth of the Locke Harbour River.

History

Locke Harbour was the first settlement along the eastern coast of present-day PopularFreedom, founded in 1854. It quickly grew as a post for traders in the area and had become the largest city by the time that the PopularFreedom Union of States, the predecessor to the community of PopularFreedom, was formed in 1954. In March 2005 the city of Locke Harbour became the capital of the Locke Harbour City State which incorporated many of the surrounding suburbs into one massive supercity.

The city of Locke Harbour, and specifically Champions Heaven Stadium in Locke Harbour North, along with Locke Harbour Stadium in Locke Harbour South played host to the 4th Rugby World Cup.

Miscellaneous

Locke Harbour is home to several foreign embassies, all of which are located in the northeastern quadrant of the metropolis. Locke Harbour has two professional rugby teams competing in the PopularFreedom Rugby League: the Locke Harbour Dragons, and the Locke Harbour Blues. Locke Harbour is also home to the PopularFreedom Ticker, the national newspaper of the nation.
