He is well known for the Melixian revolt he lead, named "The Excellent Revolution" on April 2, 1956. He replaced the country's former Utopian Socialist government with a form of theocracy. He was chosen by God to assume the position of King of Melixia and the kings that follow him are under divine guidance as well. He died February 27, 1977, and his son, Edward von Locrian-Evans, soon replaced him as king. His current grandson, William Evans, is the current King of Melixia. Louis von Locrian is looked upon as the nation's hero, or savior. In his honor, the capital, Guevarinagrad, was renamed to Locriangrad in 1959.
