Luxcastra

Luxcastra is a military settlement in Koronet,Belfast.

History

After the Kiravian Empire allied with Luxgin for the protection of it's colonies, The Kiravians built the fort-city of Luxcastra as a centerpoint for defence. It soon became an administration centre as well, used to govern over submitted minor nations. At the height of Belfast's prosperity, Luxcastra, renamed Luxcastrum, was a centre of commercebetween the Belfast nations. During the Belfastian War Luxcastrum was assailed eight times, but defended itself. After the fall of Luxgin, all but 3 of Kirav's Belfast colonies were destroyed. Luxcastra, returned to it's original name, became a haven for refugees from Mejoriti and Wisner. It withstood the power struggles and skirmishes of the Belfast Dark Age, and remains an important strategic object in Belfast today. In the modern era, the Rule of Gnomes, Luxcastrum is not at all of it's former glory.The fort is well-maintained, but the town and walls are in disrepair, and outside the settlement is an assortment of hutments, camps and slums of refugees.
