MacAlister

MacAlister is located in the Principality of Fireforge in the Danaan High Kingdom of the Resurgent Dream in the Commonwealth of Peoples. It is the fourth largest city in Fireforge and the seat of Dalziel Parish. MacAlister is often known as the City of Stone because of its rocky location in the Fireforge highlands and because of its many semi-precious stones. Young stone collectors from throughout Fireforge often make weekend trips to MacAlister to collect semi-precious stones from the city's public parks. While the stones are also collected professionally for sale as souveneirs and knick-knacks, almost none of them have any real value.

MacAlister is also home to a thriving technology industry as well as to a large number of mills and factories. Among other things, the city is known for its production of ball bearings. It is also known for being the home of poet Wallace MacAlpine. The city has a decent cultural scene, including several nightclubs, an opera and a dance society.
