The Democratic Republic of Manea is renowed throughout the world as a defender of Democratic Republics everywhere. This is due in large part to the 5 term president's pledge to uphold the rights of all nations to be governed democratically and for his ongoing war to bring down terrorism everywhere. To keep good on this promise, the country has developed a vast ultra-modern military equipped with the latest gadgets from Manea's extensive research facilities in the hopes that they can use this superior technology to ensure democratic rule throughout the world with the least casualties possible. While currently engaged in an ongoing struggle against an internal terrorist group led by a mysterious figure known only as Necrolm, the nation's vast intelligence forces have succeeded in keeping the group's impacts at a minimum thanks in large part to the new powers granted to them by President Fej's Democratic Loyalist party. As such the nation spends most of its time pursuing interests in international affairs and is always seeking new alliances and partnerships to bolster the already popular Democratic Loyalist party's newfound plurality in the Congress. But the threat of terrorism always looms on the horizon and, as such, the President's main inititive is to ensure that terrorism is squashed throughout all nations, not just his own, so that no one will ever have to live through the horror that comes with rule by fear...
