The Republic of Mardela is a large nation located in central Paradise City. Mardela founded Paradise City, and is the current regional delegate. Mardela has major industries in music, agriculture, and defense contracting. Agricutlture is a major industry, with much work devoted towards horticulture and landscaping. Defense contracting has major precedence in Mardela to supply the vast military force, which is a volunteer outfit.
Mardela has a long history in the United Nations. Almost immediately after independence, Mardela joined the UN, and within a short period of time, became the UN Delegate. It has retained this position for much of its existence. Mardela is very active in the UN, and votes on most issues.
