The People's Republic of Mastaise was a Nation made up of 10 Islands that ceased to exist in 1995, when it was re-named The Republic of Lambon.

History

This collection of islands used to be under Portuguese colonial rule until 1947 when it split into 3 separate states; Manturo, Kalstazaar, and Blaise. These states were constantly in conflict with each other, but peace was declared in 1960, when the 3 Nationalist leaders agreed on the borders of their state. The 3 leaders were, Massini (leader of Manturo), Osserbo (leader of Kalstazaar) and Roberto Castos (leader of Blaise).

All 3 leaders lasted an impressive 34 years in power, however, on 1st September 1994 all 3 leaders were assassinated by an unknown organisation - this came to be known as the "tri-Deaths".

The 3 nationalist-run states were in crisis after the "tri-deaths" incident a year earlier. In 1995, they were united into one Nation by a liberalist named Alberto Duano - he named it; “The People’s Republic of Mastaise”.

As a new democratic government was set up in Castos City, the nation immediately broke out into civil war due to rich landowners and Nationalists wanting to keep possession of their land from the coming-to-power Communist parties. Suddenly a new party, “Lambon” rose up and gained a massive 76% of the vote within 6 months. After coming to power the country was swiftly renamed “The Republic of Lambon” and the People's Republic of Mastaise ceased to exist.
