The Mediterranean or simply The Med is a region in the NationStates game. It is not to be confused with The Mediterranean, a different region.

Former Regional Delegate, Lygonia, resigned on 7 December 2004, followed was the immediate appointment of the Raven Haired Maiden to this post on 8 December 2004.

The Mediterranean region is a beautiful and mostly peaceful region, whose countries share a tranquil sea and thousands of years of cultural and commercial relationships. Its nations co-operate very closely to ensure harmony & prosperity for all their peoples.

Please visit the offsite Mediterranean Forums where the real action takes place around here. There, nations take part in regional sporting events, elections, and the occasional RP confrontation.

Currently, The executives are:

  • Minister of Regional Affairs Exiled Nation of Oppressed Communists - In charge of the Regional Governing Council, which is a senate. Is the head of the legislative branch. Serves as an Admin.
  • Minister of Foregin Affairs Edenburg - In charge of all foreign affairs such as creating alliances with other regions and settling diffrences between them and the Mediterranean, and can also the Delegate. Is the liason to the NS region, Mediterranean, and the NS world in general.
  • Minister of Information Freedomstaki - The Admin of the Mediterranean Regional Forum and it's Library. In charge of the board and technical support for the board. This individual represents the physical interests of the forum.

Judicial Council

The Judicial Council is the Supreme Court of the Mediterranean. It hears cases between two nations over disagreements. The council is made up of three seats elected by the rest of the region.
