The People’s Republic of Mettatron is renowned for its great national pride and its sense of individuality in the world. The country’s progressive view on the rights of minorities and women has gained its Prime Minister and its UN Delegates respect on the world stage.
The People’s Republic of Mettatron, located in the Northern Validus sector of the Territories of Mettatron region, was founded over 150 years ago by Resistance leader Aquilla Mettatron, after leading a revolt against the evil Dictator Xavier. After years of Civil War, the government and Xavier eventually fell, leaving behind a ruined economy and divided nation. Mettatron, along with other Resistance leaders were able to unite the People and form a Republic (Unification Day is named after his memory). Mettatron, acting as Interim Prime Minister moved the capital to Iaculator City (former Leges, along the Alveus River) and renamed the region, the only nation in it at the time, after their newly founded Republic, and began the Senate of Mettatron.
The People's Repbulic is rich in natural resources and the government puts empahsis on music, science, literature and the arts in every day life.
